Friday list, last of August!

Well, A and I had all sorts of good plans for a week off at the same time this coming week. But now she has to work all week. Not just that, but on the road. Sigh.
I thought about going with her for a few days, but there is so much work to get done around here, that I think I won’t. Then, I didn’t finish all I had hoped to at work this week, so likely I will work some this coming week, too.

But not today. Today, I will:

have coffee on the deck and paint my toenails.
draw the winning names on the craft room giveaway and get those packages ready to mail.
work on my stitching
work on my knitting
work on my yard work – pool prep is STILL in process. Can I finish it this week?
a trip to the PO, the grocery store, etc.
catch up on my reader when WordPress and I figure out why it is BLANK and fix it. Really. WordPress comes up with something new for me each week. Crazy. Yes, I probably should get another browser, but I am lazy. I have my laptop from work, maybe I will see if things are working right on that, and if so, it gives a clue.

That’s it – a full day but not a lot on the list. 🙂

I hope you all have fun, productive Fridays to start off your weekend – a holiday one here in the US – yeah!

  1. I’m at work. I’m the only one in today as everyone else is on holiday. Hoping the phone doesn’t ring too much. Your list sounds like a very nice day. Apart from the yard work! I try and get my nephew to do any gardening that needs doing! I have a guilty confession. I still haven’t been to the post office with my envelope addressed to you… It’s sitting on my desk accusingly. I might pop out at lunchtime 🙂 but then again I might not… Have a lovely day!

    1. Ahh, the kind of day where you can really get things done! I love being at work alone – I am more productive, and yet, still have time to check the blogs. 🙂 No worries on the envelope, I have a few things ahead of it in line. Just a few…
Wish your nephew lived closer to me! Mine are all back at college, and don’t live close by anyway. Very sad situation.

  2. Do try the browser. Google seems to work for me. By the way, the card we sent The Skipper’s Mom is lost in the mail. Never arrived. I knew that card was cursed from the start.

    1. I did load Chrome, and everything seems to be working fine, I even tried another site I have had trouble with and it works perfectly. So perhaps all my problems are solved?
That is a huge bummer about the card!!!! Did you save it so you can reprint it for her? It will be late, but at least she will see how much thought and effort you put into it.

      1. Yes I did save everything, just on a hunch that something might go wrong. It still a bummer because the card was suppose to start the party rolling.

A Note From Abroad
