Friday list late!

Sorry! With all the holiday eating I forgot to give you my Friday list!

It’s pretty short.

Hang out and knit

Hang out and spin

Eat leftovers for lunch

Make turkey broth

Probably nap after that, making broth is so taxing!

Hang out and play on Ravelry

Create listings on Etsy for craft fair leftovers.

Hang out and veg.

Get cleaned and dressed to meet mom and B for dinner with step brother J, remember him from amazing yard work this summer? He is visiting again for the holidays. No yard work but he is putting up Mom’s tree and putting the lights on for her. The guy is a rockstar!!!

Anyway, as you can tell it is a pretty low key day. The last few were crazy as we went from chaos in a fairly grubby house to holiday ready.

(Although it looks like no one is speaking, they actually were lining up nicely for food. πŸ˜‰)

To this by the time went to bed:

No point in wasting all that “clean”!

Here’s another great shot from Wednesday night –

Yup, Allie Cat was watching TV. She loves Hallmark’s Happy Yule Log, watches the kittens and puppies very carefully in case they escape the TV and come into her house. Like watches them intently like that for hours. Pretty funny. We taped it in case she needs entertaining later this week.

Well, as much fun as it is visiting with you, I have to go stir the turkey broth and go hang out and knit. I already did some spinning today so I can cross that off, too.

  1. LOL at your taxing day – I plan to copy it. Great job on how well everything turned out – glad you didn’t get trampled in the hoard heading for dessert! Enjoy your downtime!

  2. Allie cat is something else! How adorable! The house looks wonderful and festive. The list contains all good stuff. Enjoy!

    1. Lol not set as in place settings, but set as in ready to celebrate! I have a bright red tablecloth that will go on sometime this month, too. And the Christmas dishes are out and in use for the month. 😍

  3. Awesome, you sure got busy and going. Looks wonderful. Hugs to the kitties, and I hope they keep enjoying watching tv. My dog does not care much for tv at all. πŸ™‚ she is more concerned about napping on the knitting.
    Have a great week.

    1. lol the cats are not allowed near the knitting, and they know it very well. But now Allie has this new habit, she is fascinated by the TV! Not sure what made her suddenly notice it, but we are enjoying watching her watch TV.

      1. Allie is so cute. I think they are very intelligent. Miekie just looks at the tv when she hears a dog or cat. So good of your kitties to stay away from the knitting. Miekie likes to cuddle, whether I am knitting or not. πŸ™‚ She can be very bossy, despite her size.

          1. πŸ™‚ I had kitties as well, before they departing to the happy hunting grounds, as we call it.
They did not cuddle much either. They preferred to acknowledge us when they wanted food or snacks. πŸ™‚

          2. I am sorry you lost your kitties! But you are right, they acknowledge us for what we can do for them. Ours like ot play, so they will come get us to plat or eat, but that is about it. Very odd. πŸ™‚ They love us, and they don’t mind being patted, and they will sleep next to us, but for heaven’s sake, under no circumstances are we to ever pick one of them up. And laps are to be avoided at all costs. πŸ™‚

          3. I find cats very unique in the way they relate to humans. Different to dogs. If my doggie was younger I would get a kitty again, but she is old and wants me all for herself now. πŸ˜‰ Will definitely always have kitties of doggies around. They do keep us young and on the go.
            Enjoy the weekend. πŸ™‚

    1. Funny! Golf. I think Allie would like golf… not sure she will ever see football, lol. and basketball is too quick. But maybe we will try her on it this winter.

  4. It was fun hanging out here on your blog reading your hanging out lists.
All your photos are great, but my favorite is Allie Cat, she is gorgeous.
