I wrote this Friday and thought I scheduled it to post, but I guess not as it sits here in my drafts. Here you go –
I passed all my tests. Basically fine. No valve trouble, no clots. No reason for this, and no reason to think it will or won’t happen again. Just to be on the safe side, Doc is ordering a 30 day heart monitor thing and an appointment with a cardiologist to get his blessing that everything she sees with her non-specialist eyes is real.
I’m to stop worrying about it.
If I think it is happening again, check my pulse at my neck. If it is under 100, relax and forget about it. If it is over 100, go to the ER and get the drug to fix it. Not the one they gave me that I am allergic to but a different one.
Oh, and take lots of fish oil every day. And see her after the cardiologist.
You may all resume your regular activities now.
Thank you for caring. 🙂
Excellent, the best of news.
I’m happy!
So very good to hear. Now just relax, and enjoy each day. Hugs. 🙂
Will do!
Congratulations! I’m thankful your tests turned out well.
I’m glad you’ve got a game plan. That’s so important.
Take care and stay healthy.
🙂
thanks! so far the only really hard part is decaf. Sigh.
I’m not sure this is good or bad but you indeed have a plan. My thoughts have been with you. And, yes I would be dying without my coffee. Please continue to keep your bloggy friends informed.
I think it is all good. 🙂 Yes, coffee is much missed, decaf is just not cutting it. Sigh.
And I promise, I will keep you posted if I learn more or things change.
That’s good to hear. Nothing more scary than your heart playing up.
True! I was very glad to get all the good news. 🙂
Good news. Hopefully it doesn’t happy again.
You said a mouthful! I’m wearing an event monitor until mid-October. I feel fine but the alarm has gone off a few times. 😖 But I’m going on the basis that they haven’t called to tell me to get to the hospital so I am fine.
