Thank God.
Of course, it is still close to zero at night, and we have snow coming this weekend, but what the heck, let’s celebrate with an American rite of spring – income tax!
That’s right, that’s what I will be doing all day, this time up in Bangor. So no time for fun lists today. I’ll carry the knitting and hope for a break to work on it.
And I’ll try to do something fun or interesting this weekend to make up or it.
The snow pack melted enough yesterday that I could see the hellebores. Today it’s snowing. 4 to 6 inches. MoNa has a wicked sense of humor.
OMG tell me about it! The last two weekends have been gray with constant snow. Thankfully there is little or no accumulation, but it is so cold it just isn’t melting. I would say we still have at least a foot in the back yard, maybe more. Discouraging. There is still a snow cave around the dryer vent, we are not below that yet. Ugh.
Well, the first full say of spring isn’t really spring like on this Saturday morning. In fact we’ve probably got at leat an inch of snow already and it’s not looking like it’s stopping.
Fun times to have a rear wheel drive car. Time to throw some cinder blocks in the trunk.
And I still need to do my taxes… well more like make an appointment with the accountant my mom and I use.
Yeah, there will be no spring in New England this year. Maybe even no summer! As for taxes – if you haven’t got something like farm income I highly recommend the free tax sites AARP does it all over the country, and they serve taxpayers of all ages save some money for yarn!
