HOLY COW! Look at what was waiting for me when I got to work today!   7 comments

donated hats and mittens

Can’t thank Slipped Stitches enough for her generous donation. A dozen hats and 9 pairs of mittens will add a lot of warmth to folks around here.

I’m just sorry the picture isn’t up to the quality of her work, but my office is not very photogenic!

Thank you thank you thank you.

While demand is greatest right now, we provide warm outer wear to cold folks all winter long, so go ahead and finish up your Christmas work now, we will still be here when you are done. 🙂

  1. the look lovely and all of them look so nice to the colour combinations are also lovely

  2. Thanks Salpal. I am glad to help out.

    • You are amazing. Loved the note you sent as well – my brother lives in Monmouth and works in Lewiston – and my great grandfather was a civil engineer who worked on the bates mills, so I know Auburn very well. Such a small world. 🙂

      • Most of my dad’s family were bates mill workers. I can remember the noise and dust from the looms. They made great bedspreads.

  3. How generous! You must have been delighted!
