cal week 7   10 comments

Thankfully, the weather is much nicer this Saturday, better for working with wool!
I really struggled with the Catherine wheels this time – not sure why, but row 2 of the pattern was hard for me to keep in my head, so I must have redone half of three and all of two about 4 times before I got it right. And truthfully, it isn’t – there are two errors, but I think I am the only one who knows that I can’t count to seven or three. 🙂

week 7 complete

Allie cat wanted to help with the photos, since it is getting harder to get the whole thing in one picture. I have to say, the colors look good with the “black and white wonder”!

  1. It’s FAB! I showed Mum the various versions on FB. She picked out yours as the most beautiful!
My decorating has got in the way this week again! I’m on row 2.

    • Wow – tell your mom thank you! That is nice to hear (read). Take your time on this one – for whatever reason, I found those wheels hard to do today.

  2. It looks really great. I really like that dark blue and white row, its just stunning!

    • thanks! You know, navy and white is one of my favorite color combinations, I can’t believe it took me this long to put the two together in this blanket!

  3. This turned out to be very elegant. I love the colors. Blues are my favorite. What color is at the top, is it tan or some exotic name?

  4. Your crocheting looks very pretty and I love the colours you work with.

  5. Oh it’s so pretty! I love that bursting effect!
